Karuna Dham is offering a Yoga Retreat Package to all guests which includes boarding and lodging. This will
enable our guests to practically witness, participate and learn yogic practices for the soul. For the body,
Living in harmony with Nature includes organic farming, self-sufficiency, off grid energy, forestation,
bio-architecture housing, sustainable living and the like.
We are very happy that you come to experience Karuna, but also please do assist us in keeping your room and
the surrounding area clean . We employ minimal labor to keep the atmosphere quiet and peaceful, and to keep
the room prices as low as we can.
All bookings are none refundable and non reschedule.

Please note that the access to Karuna is restricted to walking for 10 minutes from the drop off
point. You will need to walk down with staff who will carry your luggage. When returning we can assist with
a Jeep ride to the pickup point for Rs 200 per trip. There may also be some waiting for staff to walk up and
meet you.
- There is a basic kitchen in each room to cook your own.
- You need to bring all food and provisions and snacks for cooking.
- You can order from Govindas Cafe as per the menu and pay there.

There may be rare cases when we need to change your chosen room on arrival. We try our best to
prevent this, but in some cases it may be necessary. You will only be allocated a room of equal or greater
value. We thank you for your cooperation.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO KARUNA DHAM. IF YOU DO THE FOREST DEPARTMENT WILL CONFISCATE
IT.
THE 'ROAD' IS VERY STEEP AND ROUGH AND NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MOTORBIKES.

Please bring with you the following items:
1. Strictly No alcohol allowed. If you bring alcohol or are drunk you will be asked to leave
immediately.

5. Please no loud music. We expect minimal noise after 10pm.
6. On cloudy days there may be no power other than for lights. That means even cellphone charging may not be
possible.

8. Karuna is located on a steep mountain with rough paths. Please do not bring trolleys.
Please Note:
Karuna Dham is situated in a remote location set on a mountain edge with rough paths and steep slopes on
most walks. Whilst this can be a joy and great fun for some people, those with physical disabilities or
injuries may find it challenging to get around.
