KARUNA COWS

Kamadenu, Tara and Gopi WERE our three cows are the backbone of Karuna. When all of them are milking we get nearly 45 liters daily. Besides making butter, curd, cream, paneer, the extra milk is made into ghee We rarely buy milk products town.

Moreover the cow dung is most important to make compost without which vegetables cannot grow.
Diluted cow urine is rich in nitrogen

Most of all, we look at cows as our mother and perform Puja to them . Like a mother she emanates love and peace.

We have built a suitable cow shed with cob and earth walls, and fenced a paddock for them to roam about freely.
